Growing up, we were immersed in the world of beauty and aesthetics. Our parents, both physicians who own a Medspa, fostered an environment where women were empowered to enhance their beauty through treatments like lasers, injections, and facials. This upbringing instilled in us a deep appreciation for self-expression and self-care.
In 2023, we both became Lip Blush artists, and this discovery opened up a new world for us—a creative outlet within a field where we could help others feel more confident, beautiful, and comfortable in their own skin. This journeyhas truly fueled our passion for what we do.
We are excited to bring you Derm Daughters. A place to learn, experience, and find beautiful solutions.

details matter
From a young age, we were fortunate to be immersed in the world of beauty and aesthetics, which taught us how to make informed decisions about the best products and procedures for our bodies.
Our goal is to ensure that our clients feel comfortable, confident, and even more beautiful, guiding them with the same care and knowledge that has shaped our own journey.

answers to your questions
Lip blushing, when done safely and correctly, will NOT damage your
natural lips. While it’s unlikely to cause long-term harm, you may
experience temporary swelling, irritation, and scabbing in the first week.
It’s essential to discuss any concerns, allergies, or skin sensitivities with
your artist before the procedure to ensure the best results and minimiz
risks.
The main downside of lip blushing is that it’s semi-permanent, making it
difficult to remove if you’re unhappy with the results. Additionally, the
color will gradually fade due to everyday activities like eating, drinking,
and washing your face, so you may need annual touch-ups to maintain
the desired look.
Lip blushing typically lasts two to three years, gradually fading until your
lips return to their natural shade. As the color lightens over time, many
artists recommend yearly touch-ups to maintain your desired look.
Lip blushing can create the illusion of fuller lips by enhancing their
natural definition, particularly around the Cupid’s bow, though it doesn’t
add actual volume. You can also ask your artist about adding a color
gradient to amplify this effect. However, for real volume, you might want
to consider lip fillers or a combination of both treatments.
Lip blushing and lip injections aren’t better or worse than each other; it’s
all about personal preference. Lip blushing enhances color and
definition, while lip fillers add volume and shape. Both last about a year,
take a week to heal, and have similar pain levels. You can also combine
both treatments, starting with fillers and waiting 3 weeks before getting
lip blushing. The choice depends on the results you want.
“Lip blushing is safe when done by a qualified and experienced
professional. To ensure the best results, it’s important to discuss your
skin history with your artist, including any issues like eczema, acne, cold
sores, or rashes around your mouth. This helps determine if you’re a
good candidate and allows the artist to take any necessary precautions
to minimize irritation.
